Crack in the Drops

It's an exciting feeling when you finally write, "The End" on your story. Especially when it's a world that has been building for a long time. I began working on this world in 2017. I have so many notes on their culture and how they live. I would write thousands of words, and when something felt off, I would set it aside. Then I would begin again. Reaching the end was an amazing feeling, and I couldn't wait to share the story with those around me! Then came editing. I eventually hit the point that I had my early trusted readers, five of them, read through and give me feedback. Based on that feedback I went through it again. Now it's in the hands of beta readers that I've never met. I wait to see how the story feels to them. It's hard to wait. I'm anxious for feedback and to move on to the next step. In the big scheme of things, however, I know this time will fly by. When I have more to update, I'll let you know! In the meantime, you can check out two of my short stories here.
